Bring the flavours of yum cha into your own kitchen with this relaxed, modern cooking demonstration designed for home cooks. In Modern Yum Cha, Juan and Justine will recreate much-loved classics using achievable techniques and ingredients you can actually find and use at home.
This class focuses on flavour, confidence and clever shortcuts — perfect for entertaining, sharing with family, or simply enjoying yum cha at home.

- Prawn Toast (Marion’s Kitchen–inspired)
- Satay Chicken Dumplings with satay sauce
- Vegetable Spring Rolls with sweet chilli & sour sauce
- Prawn and Pork Dumplings
- Classic Hong Kong Egg Tarts
As always, the session is demonstration-based with plenty of tips, tastings of all dishes on the day, and recipes to take home so you can recreate the dishes with ease.

By booking you accept the following terms and conditions:
- 7 days notice is required if you wish to transfer to another class or to request a credit that can be used for another date or used in the store.
- Cancellations made within 7 days or less of the class date will not be refunded, transferred or credited. You are welcome to send someone in your place, otherwise, your spot will be forfeited.
- In case of host sickness or emergency, we reserve the right to change the class to another date and will offer a full refund if you cannot make that date.
- There is a minimum of 6 participants required for the class. We reserve the right to cancel the class up to 3 days before its date if we do not have enough bookings. You will be offered the option to transfer to another date or receive a refund.
