Step back in time and into the comfort of Grandma’s kitchen for a morning of sweet and savoury nostalgia with timeless flavours. Join us for a heartwarming cooking class where we revisit some much-loved classics that never go out of style. With guest facilitator Angela Fleay (The Great Australian Bake Off).

On the menu:

  • Creamy Pumpkin Soup served with golden, savoury scones
  • Ginger Cake with lashings of warm caramel sauce
  • Lemon Delicious Pudding the ultimate comfort dessert
  • Iced Vovo Biscuits yes, the ones you used to sneak from the tin!

Whether you’re brushing up on old favourites or discovering these retro gems for the first time, this relaxed demonstration with Angela Fleay is the perfect way to spend a cosy winter’s morning.

Time: 10:00am - 1:30pm
Cost: $150.00 per person (or buy two tickets and receive 20% off)
Location: Bake and Gather - 24 Bell Street, Yarra Glen. 
The price includes a 3.5 hour cooking demonstration, tea or coffee on arrival, tasting of all the delicious creations and a recipe booklet to take home.

Maximum of 10 participants.

Terms and Conditions

  1. 7 days notice is required if you wish to transfer to another class or to request a credit that can be used for another date or used in the store.
  2. Cancellations made within 7 days or less of the class date will not be refunded, transferred or credited. You are welcome to send someone in your place, otherwise, your spot will be forfeited.
  3. In case of host sickness or emergency, we reserve the right to change the class to another date and will offer a full refund if you cannot make that date.
  4. There is a minimum of 6 participants required for the class. We reserve the right to cancel the class up to 3 days before its date if we do not have enough bookings. You will be offered the option to transfer to another date or receive a refund.
