Bake and Gather Cooking Class
Embark on a culinary journey through the vibrant and diverse flavours of Indonesia. From rich spices to fragrant herbs, Tina van Kooten will delve into the aromatic world of Indonesian cuisine.
By the end of our session, you'll not only have a deep appreciation for the vibrant flavours of Indonesian cooking, but also share in a light banquet style lunch together.
In this session, Tina will showcase the following menu:
- Soto Ayam: Spicy Chicken Soup
- Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce
- Bami Goreng: Stir-fried Noodles
- Beef Rendang
- Nasi Kuning: Tumeric Rice
- Atjar Tjampoer: Indonesian Pickled Vegetables
- Klepon: Indonesian Pandan Balls with Coconut Palm Sugar

The price includes a 3 hour cooking demonstration, tea or coffee on arrival, light lunch and recipe booklet to take home.
Maximum of 10 participants.
By booking you accept the following terms and conditions:
- 7 days notice is required if you wish to transfer to another class or to request a credit that can be used for another date or used in the store.
- Cancellations made within 7 days or less of the class date will not be refunded, transferred or credited. You are welcome to send someone in your place, otherwise, your spot will be forfeited.
- In case of host sickness or emergency, we reserve the right to change the class to another date and will offer a full refund if you cannot make that date.
- There is a minimum of 6 participants required for the class. We reserve the right to cancel the class up to 3 days before its date if we do not have enough bookings. You will be offered the option to transfer to another date or receive a refund.
